Hi, I’m Charlie! I’m 9 years old and currently living at Ramapo-Bergen County Animal Refuge while I wait to be adopted.

I’ve had a bit of a tough past. I was once a stray in NYC where I was found with a broken pelvis and heatstroke. More recently, I escaped from a foster home and spent 10 days lost in the woods. Because of everything I’ve been through, I’m still adjusting to shelter life and learning to trust people again.

While I take things at my own pace, I could really benefit from a cozy blanket, calming treats, and some soft comfort toys.
